India is an ancient nation with rich monumental heritage. The famed architecturally ingenious monuments always merit a visit, as they are the living proof of India's authentic architectural history. UNESCO or United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization identify places which may include forest, mountain, lake, desert, monument, building or complex as a place of cultural or physical significance. By identifying a site as a heritage site, UNESCO puts the same on the global map increasing the tourism to that site. A site identified by UNESCO as a heritage site is also able to procure funds for the maintenance and development of the same. In India there are 28 places identified by the UNESCO as world heritage site.

Bhangarh, The Ghost Town Of India

Bhangarh is an extremely famous ghost town in Rajasthan in India. It is a ruined town in Alwar well known for historical remains and the eeriness. It is considered to be amongst the scariest and most haunted places across the globe. Even the government does not encourage tourists in this town. The government has forbidden any person to stay or visit this place before sunrise and after sunset. The sign board installed by the Archaeological Survey of India at Bhangarh reads, "Entering the borders of Bhangarh before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited." I don’t know what happens their beyond sunset but if I were you I would follow what ASI says.
