4. Hussain Sagar Lake or the Tank Bund: Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali got The Bund built in the year 1562 when Ibrahim Qutub Shah reigned over the city. Tank Bund was once the source of water for the Secunderabad Cantonment. However, over the year it has been transformed into a recreational area as well as a picnic spot. This lake also offers some water sport activities. The biggest stone sculpture of Lord Buddha in the entire world is situated on a pedestal in the center of the lake.
