It is commonly grown in Asian and African countries as well as some of the warm places in Europe and America. The Aloe Vera plant has a gel like pulp in its leaves which has several medicinal uses.

Aloe Vera has been used because of its health benefits for more than six thousand years. In ancient Egypt it was used to cure infections as well as battle wounds. The ancient Greeks used it to cure burns, ulcers, and blisters and also for curing stomach and bowel related problems.
