Bageshwar is located at the confluence of River Saryu, River Gomti and River Bhagirathi in Uttarakhand. All theses rivers have spiritual significance and thus the small town Bageshwar where all these rivers meet also hold spiritual significance. Towards the east of Bageshwar you will find Bhileswar Mountains and Nileshwar Mountainson the west side. The Suraj Kund is situated towards the north of Bageshwar and Agni Kund towards the south. Bageshwar is said to be the pious land of Lord Shiva. From earlier times this place is thought to be sacred. The spiritual beauty of Bageshwar has always pulled many saints and spiritual minded people to this land.
