1. Golconda Fort
Golconda fort is said to be built in the eleventh century when this city was ruled by the Kakatiya dynasty. Earlier it was just a mud fortress on top of a hill names Golconda. The Golconda fort city flourished and grew for eight hundred years when it was ruled by the Kakatiya rulers to Qutub Shahi rulers. The Golconda fort city experienced its golden years when it was ruled by Mohammed Qutub Shahi, a prominent Qutub Shahi ruler. Many other significant places to be seen in Hyderabad are from the Qutub Shahi era.
