Bodhgaya Tourist Guide
Bodhgaya, a small village in the state of Bihar is the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage in the world. It is believed that Lord Buddha attained nirvana after long period of deep meditation under the shade of Bodhi tree in Bodhgaya. A Mahabodhi temple stands at that very spot as of today. The temple complex also houses a descendant of the Bodhi Tree under which Lord Buddha practiced meditation. The serene atmosphere of this village attracts monks, pilgrims and people in search of spiritual knowledge from far and wide. This village is sprawled by many Buddhist monasteries.
